Rock Chronology #60: Tuesday Afternoon

“Tuesday Afternoon”, The Moody Blues, 1967.

Here is another single from The Moody Blues album Days of Future Passed. The album for the most part was ignored in 1967, and then it became hugely popular in 1972 (thanks mostly to “Nights in White Satin”). However unlike “Nights in White Satin”, this song was actually a minor hit in 1967. This single managed to peak at #24 on the US Hot 100 when first released.

There are actually several versions of this song. The version given here is the extended version from the album.
